Design Creations is owned and operated by John Spiers (B. Ed) in Geraldton, Western Australia . 

I have been teaching Design and Technology within the Education Department of Western Australia since 1984.  This combined with my furniture design and construction business and writing for Australian Wood Review has given me a unique insight into design, the timber industry and how best to safely instruct people in woodwork, jewellery and design.

I also make a range of quality fine furniture incorporating the uniqueness of the Western Australian hardwoods, Jarrah and Marri. I also accept commissions for pieces to make your vision become a reality.
